My Day 1 is actually day 21 of 365 ... I'm a little behind, but it's okay b/c I'm here now. I really have no idea where I'm going with blog but I guess I'll just start and see what happens.
My "new years resolution" this year is to do more, take more pictures and write more. So here is to doing all 3! I need to find my nitch, scratch that I have found my nitch I need to find out how to incorporate it into my work life. Here is what happened....after highschool I decided "hey I'll take a year off to figure out what I really want to do....well that was 6 years ago! It's not all bad b/c the path I was going I would have gone to school for either teaching or architecture and neither of those are my "nitches". So instead I am working at desk making appointments in the Transportation Industry. I can't really complain b/c I like what I do and I like the company I work for but....it's not my nitch.
So what is it? What is my nitch? Photography and Music...I need to find a way to make that my career. I just came up with another "goal" for 2011 ... pull off something amazing regarding music / photography this year. Maybe I can find a local band and design or make their album cover, or rent out some space at an art gallery and display my photo's, or create a calendar. I have some pretty exciting trips planned for 2011...I could manage a calendar, or post cards, or greeting cards.
Whatever it is I'm going to make sure it's epic!
Oh and I'm going after movies...at least 1 movie a week. Tonight it was Julie & Julia ... not to bad actually. No real WOW moments but it was good and kept me interested. Kudos Amy Adams and Meryl Strep.
